SHPE's annual National Institute for Leadership Advancement conference for 2008 has come to a successful close. This year NILA was held in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas at the American Airlines Training & Conference Center. NILA is designed to provide chapter leaders, both student and professional, with advanced training in leadership and communication. Workshops include topics such as strategic planning, networking, and chapter management. This experience allows members to walk away with tools they can utilize to enhance the value of themselves, their chapter, their community, and the organization as a whole.
