The Professional Development Strategy series is being offered for the second year at NTCC 2007, in response to the needs of SHPE professional members. The 2007 series contains new workshops to further enhance the skills of our professional members. These skills are not taught in the classroom or on the job, but they are essential to advance in today’s competitive workplace.
Communication is a key ingredient to any successful team. The workshops will teach effective communication techniques that can be utilized in any situation, even personal ones. You will receive training that will enable you to communicate in tense situations, with individuals from diverse backgrounds, or of the opposite sex.
The 7 workshops listed below are for SHPE professional members only. In order to attend, you need to be registered for NTCC.by December 1, 2006 and Pre-Registered by December 15, 2006. No one will be admitted without meeting these requirements.
Additional professional workshops are open to the general public with no pre-registration required.
