NTCC 2007 – Microsoft/Dell Mobile Devices Competition

Have you seen the coolest mobile devices powered by Microsoft and Dell technologies?  Do you feel you have what it takes to create the next killer application for Mobile devices and are you willing to prove it?  If you want to show the world you have what it takes or if you just simply want to find out more about this area, come join us for one exciting day of learning, fun, and prizes.

Microsoft and Dell will hold a one day competition where students and professionals from all disciplines come together to develop the next killer Mobile device application.  Participants will be taught in the morning how to develop an application for Mobile devices using the .NET Compact Framework.  In the afternoon working in groups, participants will be asked to design and develop their own Mobile application.  Instructors will be on-site to assist participants throughout the development cycle and answer any questions they may have.  Toward the end of the day, participants will be asked to present their applications to the class and a group of Microsoft and Dell judges will choose the best application.  There could be up to 2 participants per team.

Students are expected to know how to program in one of these languages: C, C++, C#, Java, or a similar language.
