Some E-Week activities
- The University at Buffalo Chapter participated in the schools engineering week and hosted a workshop. The workshop was on project management, it was a complete success. The members were responsible for building house with certain requirements. See pictures on the Picture area!
- The UMass @ Lowell Chapter E-week activity was at the school where they brought high school students to visit the college of engineering. It was a great event, they had about 15 students from each SHPE Jr. Chapter and all enjoyed visiting the engineering departments. See pictures on the Picture area!

SHPE Conference, a total success!!!
Better than expected, the new era of service for SHPE was a huge
success, we broke the record for attendance by the students, many students
were offered jobs, the Ultimate Challenge was well received, and the
Academic Olympiad show was a hit and we cant forget the banquet. These are just a few highlights.
Successful Workshops to prepare for SHPE Conference
Prior to the SHPE Conference P&G had workshops at NJIT and Drexel University to prepare student members for the SHPE Conference.
As well, the NYC Professional Chapter had workshops for the student members within the sub region.
Successful Career Development Day in PR!
During September 8 the PR Sub Region held, along with other student organizations, the Career Development Day. Stryker, Lehman Brothers and Johnson & Johnson were the proud sponsors and successfully conducted workshops tracks for the 150+ attendants.
Thanks to all the participants!
